How to begin. First, this short may not be for you. But if it is, you'll really enjoy it! Adeline comes across as a poetry reading with some very cool visuals. If that's your cup of Tea then take the 7.5 minutes and enjoy.
Aside from that, I really only have one thing to say here. This is a haunting short. Both with it's visuals and with the haunting score used throughout the video. Add to that, the fact that actress Daniella Alma captures the character with perfection and you have a memorable few minutes.
I love the scenes used in the short. Everything fit! Grand yet somehow sad landscapes and buildings and a nice job putting it all together in post production. Nothing slick or fast paced here, just a... creeping dread almost as you begin to put things together.
This video is a short one, so there's not much to say without ruining it. But if you love this kind of work, you'll love this. Myself? I'm on the fence. Adeline is not really my personal thing, but I have to give credit where credit is due. I sat and watched the entire short. Again, since this isn't my type of video that's a credit to everyone involved. Thank you for the entertainment!
I'm going to give Adeline a solid 3/5. If this were my genre I'm sure I would have scored it higher. To the cast and crew... Excellent job! You captured me.
